Texture Play

Today was my first day playing with texture. I'll just admit up front that I have a LONG way to go ... but it will be so much fun when I finally arrive! These photos weren't exactly the best photos to texturize, but it was interesting to see the crazy results.

Sisters

I love seeing my cousin Jaime when she (too seldom) makes the long trek back to Idaho from her home on the Oregon coast--and her two little girls are always in heaven on Nana and Papa's ranch! Adorable ... I loved seeing you guys yesterday!

Day at the Park

This was a cold November day--perfect for red noses, rosy cheeks, and a walk to the park. These are my friend's four kids, and they are ALL smart, fun, talented kiddos! I got so many great shots--they all just make me smile--but here are four of my favorite:

The Boys

These are my all-time favorite boys--my nephews.

This one LOVES to be outside--even when it's burrrrr-y out.

The daughter of one of my very best friends ... this girl is all about theatre, singing, performing--and she could have been in front of the camera ALL day!

First Session EVER!

My step-sister was such a sport to let me test out my new camera and my I'm-not-so-sure-I-know-what-I'm-doing photography skills on my niece. We had a fun afternoon at the park on a rainy day.

This is one of my favorite shots--it just captures her personality. She was so good during the whole shoot. Every once in a while, she would ask, "Can I make faces now?" And we got some good ones!
